The Anjuman-i-Islam is the premier and the largest institution representing Muslim community in the country (in terms of number of students and school, colleges & community centres).
The Anjuman-i-Islam was founded on 21st February, 1874 by Justice Badruddin Tayyabji, first Indian Judge of Bombay High Court and the Third President of the Indian National Congress.

The Anjuman-i-Islam is represented by leading personalities (particularly Muslim Community of the Country specially Maharashtra).

The Anjuman-i-Islam is a symbol of Secularism & National Integration.

The Anjuman-i-Islam was visited by Shri Rajiv Gandhi & Smt. Sonia Gandhi in the year.

Approx. 1 lakh students are there in the institutes run by the Anjuman-i-Islam.
