Dr. Zahir I. Kazi, President Anjuman-I-Islam

Dr. Zahir I Kazi was elected president of Anjuma I Islam, a century old largest educational and social welfare organization, in November 2009. In this role, he chairs the Council of Anjuman I Islam Board. Dr. Zahir I Kazi has enjoyed a long and varied career in Medical, Academy and Social activities. Qualification wise, Dr. Zahir I Kazi has an M.D, DMRD, M.B.B.S (University of Mumbai), FMRI (U.S.A), MAIUM (U.S.A.) degrees attibuted to his acheivements. Within Anjuma I Islam, he held a quite a number of trustworthy positions before finally becoming the President. Before achieving the position of a President within Anjuman I Islam, he was an Elected and held the position of Member of General Council of Anjuman I Islam 20 years, held the position of Executive chaiman, board of Tibbia College and Hospital and finally the Honorable General Secretary.

Dr. Zahir I Kazi has many Awards and Acheivements for his contributions. To name a few, he

* Represented India at 12th youth goodwill mission to Japan

* Was awarded for his outstanding service in field of medicine by EKTA foundation and in the field of Education by SEWAA at the hands of then Chief Minister of Maharashtra

* Ex-President of Goa Medical College Students Union

* Ex-Members of students council University of Mumbai

* Ex-Secretary of Doctors club of Bombay Hospital

* Member of Sub Committee for Club Affiliation, Mumbai Cricket Association

* Awarded best all round student in MBBS

* Won various awards in debate and elocution competition

Mr. Abbas M. Hetavkar, Sr. Vice-President, Anjuman-I-Islam

Mr. A.M. Hetavkar is the Sr. Vice-President, Anjuman-i-Islam & I/c MHSS Institution of Engineering & Technology. By profession, he is LLB, Advocate High Court, Notary Public, State of Maharashtra, Sr. Govt. Counsel, Member, Indian Arbitration Council At present he is fully dedicated with the activities of Anjuman-i-Islam, Mumbai. He has been associated with Anjuman-i-Islam for the last 20 years in different capacities such as Hon. Gen. Secretary, Vice-President, Incharge President, etc. He has also established educational institutions in his own taluka place, Co-op. Banks, Co-op. Hsg. Societies. He is a prominent social worker and his holding important osition in several organisations of repute.

Mr. A.S. Zariwala, B.V.T.E. Chairman

Mr. Abdul Sattar Zariwala is currently holding a position as trustee and honorable Chairman of Anjuman I Islam, a century old largest educational and social welfare organization. Before that he held very promising positions as a Member of Haj Committee constituted under Haj Committee Act of Parliament and an elected Municipal councillor of Municipal Corporation and greater mumbai. He has been actively associated in publishing articles on Minority Education. Some of his articles which were publised and welcomed were, "Educational Rights of Minorities under Constitution of India", Modern Education among Indian Muslims".

In addition he is known for his notable contribution activities in the following

* Presided over the meeting for minority educational institution of Maharashtra in fecilitating Chairman Justice Siddiqui and members of National Commission on minority education

* Succesfully accomplished the centenary celebration function of Anjuman I Islam which was presided by Late Shri Rajeev Gandhi, former prime minister of India and Late Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma that time was Vice President of India
